East Noble School Corporation publicly listed LifeWise Academy as one of its “accomplishments” in its 2024 State of the Corporation address — and again this year, celebrating its expansion to even more grades.

This is the same district whose superintendent told the The News Sun that East Noble School Districts would only participate if LifeWise raised enough money to operate in all five elementary schools — not just one or two.

So instead of treating a private religious ministry as an outside group subject to neutrality and equal-access rules, they made its district-wide expansion a condition for entry — and then showcased that expansion as an institutional success.

Is this what neutrality looks like?
