Want to know what LifeWise Academy is doing in your district? 👀
Secular Education Association just rolled out a major update to our national LifeWise tracker. 🗺️
📍LifeWise is tracking expansion across 17,500+ districts and 95,500+ schools.
We’re tracking how that expansion is happening.
Our updated map brings together information from LifeWise, public records, and community documentation so people can better understand how these programs are being introduced and operated in their communities.
You can now:
• Search your district and schools
• View state-level totals
• Track local program growth
• See which churches and sponsors are involved
• Find district contact information
• Review publicly available data connected to programs
And we’re just getting started.
We’ll continue adding district RTRI policies, local media coverage, documented concerns, public records, and meeting minutes where LifeWise programs have been discussed.
This project is about transparency and awareness. Public schools often have limited control once these programs are introduced through state policy — which is why understanding how LifeWise operates is so important.
If you have information we should add — public records, district policies, church locations, documented concerns, or other local details — you can submit it directly through the Submit Info button on the map.
We’ll also be doing a live walkthrough next week to show people how to use the map and find what’s happening in their own communities.

What people are saying:
- Facebook User: Aberdeen Wa entire school district has been approved now 🥴
- Secular Education Association: Facebook User sound that alarm!
- Facebook User: Secular Education Association not really sure what to do. My kid goes to the smaller sister town district, I’ve spoken with his principal and PTO
- Secular Education Association: Facebook User you already took fantastic first steps. In Washington the school board doesn’t have to allow this. I would start with your community, Friends and family. Spread the word. Once parents understand what this really is, it puts a pretty big roadblock in their path.
- Facebook User: Secular Education Association well it’s only my immediate family here. But one of the schools I found out during the lifewise meeting is set up to start their teachings at the church my MIL is a secretary at. So after that meeting I kinda barged in unknowingly at a church meeting at her house. I waited for everyone to leave and told her everything I knew, she was unaware at the time this was already in motion and a bit offended she was kept in the dark. Most the in-laws are pro church in school, at least basics, she was shocked about the dogs and cats comment as well. I have Jehovah witnesses come to my house every week to discuss whatever (I think they just really like the friendly back and fourth) and I told them and they looked into it as well because they were confused on how it was allowed.
I don’t know doing a mass post across local groups would benefit their program or not.
They really push how this helps the community and I came back at them if they REALLY wanted to help the community they would have it after school when so many need childcare and instead of indoctrinating our youngest children with pizza parties during the school day. This even messed with our schools CEP free meal grant. So the kids take their regular lunch with but dominos donates pizza
- Secular Education Association: Facebook User take a look at our website- you may find some resources to help there. One thing we can tell you is that their “study” that shows Lifewise improves anything is paid for and doesn’t hold up. We have a PHD reviewed rebuttal of that study in fact. We absolutely understand your frustration. We have a Washington specific group you may wish to join. There may be more people closer to you who can help. We need local eyes and ears on them, everywhere. Please feel free to reach out to us at contact@seculareducationassociation.org, we would be interested in knowing anything you’ve been made aware of that seems questionable or concerning.
- Secular Education Association: Facebook User https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1aBf4f5KgQ/?mibextid=wwXIfr is our Washington group!
- Facebook User: Secular Education Association ok I added it 🙂
- Facebook User: Yall need to stay out of public education
- Secular Education Association: Facebook User if you’re talking to lifewise academy – we agree. We’re fighting back to defend religious freedom and neutrality in public schools.
- Facebook User: Secular Education Association yes i am against likewise and find it absolutely necessary and I went to catholic schools for 10 years lol, but religion has no place in public education or our government
- Facebook User: My city’s school district is in step 1. What now?
- Secular Education Association: Facebook User Great question. Step 1 usually means initial contact or early conversations are happening but the program is not implemented yet.
Now is the best time to:
• Ask your district for transparency about any discussions
• Contact your school board and share concerns early
• Ask what policies they have in place for released-time programs
• Connect with other parents so you are informedYou can also follow Secular Education Association for resources and guidance. Early awareness is how communities stay informed.
- Facebook User: Secular Education Association thank you
