  This is not what our founding government was based on and never has been even now. We do not need any religion in our public schools! If there’s going to be allowances for one religion than it would have to be ALL religions. This IS against our constitution. This only causes division and bullying over religion. Religion should be special to each family and to each individual. It is a personal matter with your God. There are many families, many individuals and there are many Gods that people turn to. Teaching only one path of religion is only indoctrination, period. If it was truly about people having religious rights and or religious freedoms in our public schools than it has to be ALL religions. That’s a lot of busses coming during a school day to pick up so many different students for religious instructions. This is definitely a distraction and it is harmful to the class instructions where teachers are only trying to focus on academics rather than deal with questions and division within the classroom due to religious beliefs.
  This has gotten out of hand is really scary. I am shocked that this where we are at. After fighting for freedoms, we are losing them now quicker than ever! Moving backwards instead of forwards. All I can do is learn more and help spread awareness and vote. All I can do is continue open conversations. All I can do is hope that change will come and our freedoms will be restored and protected again.
