As part of our mission to keep public schools religiously pluralistic and neutral, we provide legislation tracking for state initiatives that could affect the secular school day. This tool is provided to help parents, educators, and administrators stay informed and engaged.
The legislative process can move very quickly. Hearings can be scheduled with as little as 12 hours notice in some states. This often leads to bills being adopted with minimal public input. It is imperative to stay involved in the lawmaking process to help keep it transparent and hold elected officials accountable.
