We’re so happy to see honest reporting on the corrupt and self-serving former Lt. Governor; now Senator, Jon Husted. Husted has been an advocate and closely associated with several educational programs that defy the separation of church and state. Programs like EdChoice, charter schools and RTRI programs, like Lifewise Academy.
Husted is more than just “closely” associated with Lifewise, he’s seemingly their biggest cheerleader and private government media relation. Husted toured the state doing closed to the press roundtables with Lifewise Academy promoting their program. As you can see- Governor Husted’s office coordinated these round tables and sent the RSVP list directly to Lifewise. Even providing a letter so that Lifewise Corp. had something to show principals who were “not showing support”.

Husted is calling and pressuring board members (Nadia Long – Hilliard City School Board member) and has a direct line of communication to Joel Penton. As the texts from Zach Vorst (Hilliard School Board member) to Joel P. and Beth Ary Murdoch (Hilliard School board member) illustrate clearly. He even goes as far as to call a second time to pressure Long, who seems to oppose Lifewise.
Vorst and Murdoch are still School Board members in Hilliard Ohio- but the one outlier (Long) was ousted in November 2023.
“When I do something publicly, it seems like it’s political. This isn’t political. This is about kids in the community,” Husted said during a meeting promoted by LifeWise. Not ONCE in all of this correspondence is there a mention of the kids, so we’re gonna call Husted’s bluff. They don’t care about the kids, their communities, or how this will affect children and community members who do not share in their narrow minded, hateful, and divisive version of Christianity.
“It’s about the responsibility we have as Christians and as citizens to educate our children and to share the message of Jesus.” Our mistake. We didn’t think Lt. Evangelical Preacher was a title. Now Senator, what about your responsibility to your constituents and our secular country? To our public schools? What a disgrace, you and the company you keep, are to the State of Ohio.

The Tennessee Federation of Republican Women has issued a reading list for children that praises Nazi leader Adolf Hitler as an “intelligent” leader. After public criticism from other Republicans, the group removed the document from its website and said the pro-Hitler statement “inaccurately reflected our intentions.”
“Hitler and all intelligent leaders throughout history have understood that the way to change a country was through the training of its youth, to get them while they are young,” stated the group’s reading list, which contained only six books and was entitled, “Growing American Patriots Through Literacy.” That is the goal of Lifewise. Changing the country to their ideal (paying the church out of your paycheck every week, and voting the way they want) by conditioning kids minds to accept ideas and concepts without question. All the better to get them to do you bidding in the future. The Hitler Youth program trained and recruited about 2 million members to act as a paramilitary force to intimidate and attack any opponents of Hitler’s Nazi regime. All other scouting organizations were banned, and children who refused to join were alienated and bullied. Hello Lifewise? We have seen this already. The program allowed Nazis to remove children from any parental anti-Nazi influence. Some Hitler Youth members were sent to fight in suicide missions during World War II and were executed if they refused. Similar training is used by the Taliban. If you want to raise happy little Nazis, like they do in Upper Sandusky, do it at home, after school time.
