LIFEWISE ISN’T THE ONLY “PROGRAM” WE ARE UP AGAINST TO KEEP OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS SECULAR.

Submitted Anonymously

“I am sorry, I know this isn’t Lifewise, but; I am not comfortable with this. Today was FCA at my daughter’s school. At the end of their meeting, they had kids take handfuls of the attached and pass them out to kids. A girl gave this to my daughter and told her “You need to come and find Jesus.” Notice they use the school emblem on the flyer, too. My daughter went to throw it away and was verbally attacked by a couple of kids that she wasn’t allowed to toss it.

The same school had prescribed prayer during a mandatory assembly. I emailed the Superintendent who blew me off, so I know I would be ignored with concerns about this”

  • Facebook User: Mandatory prayer in assemblies? Gosh it’s disgusting and infuriating.
    • Facebook User: Facebook User and unlawful
  • Facebook User: Contact the district and have them demand their logo be taken off this flyer. Otherwise it comes across as the district is sponsoring this.
  • Facebook User: All Bible school did to me as a kid was make me worry I was going to hell as an 8 year old. I didn’t get the option to believe it was just kind of pushed as this is how it is. Would’ve been 2013 ish. Kids need structured school where they learn about the world not this. This is pushy and very cult like
  • Facebook User: Isn’t this extracurricular?
  • Facebook User: Gross. It must be profitable if there are multiple people trying to found it. Like a hydra if we manage to cut off one head two more will grow.
  • Facebook User: It’s the RTRI law in general…it’s needs to be repealed.
  • Facebook User: Who else has FCAs? I’d like more info on these too.
  • Facebook User: Bands of Christian bullies now banding together at schools, as experienced by the daughter attempting to throw away the propaganda. Seculars need to unite and find the funding to mount a media blitz, showing Christian beliefs to be harmful both to the individual psychologically and society as a whole and to point out that the Bible is a poor source of moral guidance.
  • Facebook User: Facebook User sounds like a case for FFRF.
  • Facebook User: What are fca’s?
    • Facebook User: Facebook User Fellowship of Christian Athletes
  • Facebook User: Facebook User
    • Facebook User: Facebook User get on it.
I think a group for TST athletes would be famous. And much less cringe.
