What people are saying:
- Facebook User: I was handed one of these at my job by a client the other day with a “Looks like you could use a little Jesus.”
I politely said “No thank you. I don’t think I do.” and gave it back. That was the end of it.- Facebook User: Facebook Userkids shpuld not habe to do that at school
- Facebook User: My daughter would pass it back to them and ask why they believe what they believe lol
- Facebook User: When I first saw this image on my phone I thought it was a cookie, and I was intrigued. 😆
- Facebook User: I don’t approve of the school day non-school program. However, unless kids are not allowed to pass out any other toys or gifts, I would do nothing.
Not labeled Jesus.
Not even an attempt is made to be even close to “authentic”.
Most like the sappy Precious Moments rendering of the nativity - Facebook User: My kid collects them. No belief, they just enjoy collecting religious junk. They also have a shelf of assorted hotel bibles.
That said, if another child randomly handed it off, it wouldn’t bother me. This is not that. This is an adult using another child as a middle man for their nefarious goals. That, I’d have a huge problem with.
- Facebook User: That is both creepy and fugly as all shit. It’s giving early aughts Pedo Bear vibes. If that were a representation of my God I’d be ashamed.
- Facebook User: Be open minded enough to explain in age appropriate language how there are many religions and cultures in the world that people are involved in.
- Facebook User: Why is the kid passing around beauty pageant Charlie Manson?
- Facebook User: Facebook User best comment of the day 👍🤭🤗
- Facebook User: Bite the head off to show my dominance
- Facebook User: Given that lifewise supplied it? I wpuld be screaming at the next school board meeting and suing.
- Facebook User: In the trash. 🤷♀️
