You walk into work and something like this is on your desk…

You might have rolled your eyes while enjoying that Reese’s, but deep down you KNOW this sort of thing in the workplace is completely inappropriate and unacceptable.

Our polite silence is how this has been normalized. How it makes it to our public schools and to our children.

If you’re in a position to do so, please do not stay silent any longer.

  • Facebook User: So let’s say i was given a thoughtful gift and some candy from a coworker at Christmas time. The gift also included a tiny Jesus with a sash on that read “Jesus loves you.” Knowing my boss is also religious and i DO NOT wish to offended anyone, how would I adress this? I didn’t want to at the time, i honeslty thought tiny jesus was adorable and colored in his sash and he lives on my desk now, lol. But this post makes a valid point. If this happened to my kid at school I’d be upset. Obviously I wouldn’t go back to December and bring it up, but if it were to happen next time, I am not sure what I’d do. Ty for the food for thought.
