“I’m a teacher and I’m being asked to send these “interest forms” home and to ask students to have them returned by Friday…but that returning them is optional.

I still feel like it makes it look like the school is endorsing this and even recommending it since we are sending it home with all students.”

This document was given to a public school teacher in Ohio (Morgan Local School District). Pay close attention, as it is NOT a permission slip but an INTEREST LIST. Please note – When questioned school administrators are temporarily holding off on its distribution until they receive confirmation from the district office.

This is the sort of overreach we are seeing on the ground. The blatant disregard for existing laws. The violation of both student AND teachers rights.
