🚨 Donating public facilities to Lifewise?! 🚨
The Village of Dresden, Ohio, is giving LifeWise Academy free use of public facilities, including rent-free space, internet, phone, and utilities — all funded by taxpayers. But here’s the problem: Ohio law clearly prohibits this.
👉 Ohio Revised Code 3313.6022(B)(5) states that “No public funds are expended” for Released Time Religious Instruction programs.
📄 The lease agreement between the Village and LifeWise shows public resources are being donated — a clear violation of state law.

🔍 In fact:
• A 2002 Ohio Attorney General opinion says cities can contract with nonprofits only if all applicable laws are followed — and this isn’t.
• A 1971 AG opinion goes further: the government cannot donate to private entities at all unless explicitly allowed by law.
This isn’t a mistake — it’s a pattern. LifeWise continues to bend the law to serve its mission of inserting religious programming into public schools — no matter the cost to public integrity.
📚 Public schools should be for education, not indoctrination — and public dollars should follow the law.

- Secular Education Association: Facebook User THIS
- Facebook User: So in order to counter this, a resident of Dresden would need to file a complaint and that might be costly, right? So sick of these theocrats!
- Facebook User: I don’t like that but my tàx dollars are used for people who break the rules to benefit their profits.
