🚨 Religious Exemption Over Justice? 🚨

🚨 Religious Exemption Over Justice? 🚨

Trump and top Catholic leaders just helped block a Washington state law that would’ve required clergy to report child abuse—even if they learned about it during confession. 😳

The court said this law violated religious freedom. That means priests don’t have to report abuse if it’s told to them in a religious setting—even though teachers, doctors, and others are required to.

This case matters because it shows how religious institutions are being given special treatment—even when kids’ safety is on the line.

📚 When we talk about keeping public education secular, this is what we mean. Every institution that serves the public—schools, churches, or otherwise—must follow the same rules to protect kids.

Religious freedom should never be a shield for hiding abuse. Period. ✊
