I’m going to share the wording from a post I made in our local school community chatter page only because it got SO much attention and conversation and allowed me to address concerns and open peoples eyes to what was coming. It may have been a little misleading at first, but it definitely did the trick! I could not believe the number of comments, which definitely opened the door for us to educate a little. For the background, another local woman had been posting about LW and trying to gather support without really explaining the program to its fullest (we know how that story goes). Here’s what i posted:

‼️ATTENTION MCCSC PARENTS!!!!‼️

What if I told you that I have a great opportunity for an acquaintance of mine to come and take your kid out of school and teach them some things that we feel are important about faith and religion?

What if I told you that you don’t have to do a thing or know anything about it, just trust that your child will be brought back to school when the lesson is finished?

Your child will learn what the Bible teaches and what we interpret as important via a predetermined instruction that is being taught by our academy program, which is trying to infiltrate and change traditional school across the nation. We need participants! (This is definitely a recruitment). Your young innocent child will be encouraged to bring along friends, and to entice them, he or she may be given candy to offer them and a reward of fun times. It is all off grounds from school and staffed by people not associated with school and the person transporting would not be a school bus driver. That way you dont have to worry about silly safety measures slowing the process. Your child will be told that the kids not coming with them are missing God in their life and are not as knowledged or special, that way your child will really push for friends to come also. Eventually, we would like all of the children and their parents to look forward to this time away from school, and we will do whatever we can to get them on board. I believe our agenda for teaching God by our own people and separate location is way more important than your kids staying at school for lunch and recess with friends and learning silly specials subjects such as STEM, art, PE, library, etc. , (those things are not very important and add no value to your child’s day anyway right?)

All you have to do is simply sign a permission form when you are presented, no questions asked. You don’t need to review any material, we probably wouldn’t be able to share it with you anyway (copyright issues). You will give us permission to have one of our people transport your little child off ground during the school day to receive our programmed instruction by this nationwide company and in turn will help our program grow and gain! We use great tactics to recruit and you could be bait! As long as we all label it as religious instruction with positive benefits for the nation’s children, everyone will blindly be on board and contribute to our success😊
