Our Schools have a School Safety Plan. There are plans in place & drills practiced with them. When asked about LW & required plans, there are basically no safety requirements per the State. This is concerning, not only for the safety & protection of the kids, but at the end of the day, protection of the taxpayer as well. I asked about fire, tornadoes, shooter safety, churches being locked to prevent Anyone from entering (the Church is located at a very busy intersection). I asked about drug tests for LW volunteers & employees, CPR and/or Basic First Aid certifications, if there’s an AED? Epi pens for an allergislc reaction? I also asked about Snow Emergencies, as weather can change quickly in our area. (If a school bus breaks down, the school Corporation has a fleet of buses to send a backup). There are No requirements for LW to share plans for any Emergencies. Are these examples I’ve listed another thing ( in addition to background checks) to be ‘covered’ by Ephesians 6: 10-24? 🙄

If students aren’t protected, are the Taxpayers protected in the event of a lawsuit?
Looking at
IC 20-33-2-19, there’s a lot of gray areas Not clearly defined as to WHO is responsible & should be addressed by contacting Indiana Legislators.
