🚨Did you know your child’s public school may be handing over your directory info—like your home address—to religious groups like LifeWise Academy?
They’re using it to mail you ads for Bible classes during the school day.
It’s legal under federal law (20 U.S.C. §1232g / 34 CFR §99.37) — unless you opt out.

“Does anyone know how Lifewise is collecting addresses for their mailers? We just received one and while I plan to contact them via their website to tell them our family is to be taken off their lists, I am curious as to how they acquired our information.
We have children enrolled in preschool/school but have never received anything like this from other programs (unless we signed up for it).”

What people are saying:
- Facebook User: Thankfully in our district, parents have to OPT IN for information to be shared. For example, students’ pictures cannot even be included in yearbooks unless parents hit the “opt in” button during registration. I’ll double check, but I am pretty confident that student info CANNOT be shared with organizations like LifeWise.
