Why would LifeWise change their vision statement? Why reword a document which is at the core of their ministry?
Because people noticed. Because we raised concerns. Because โunchurchedโ made it clear that LifeWise sees public schools as a recruiting groundโ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐.
The first image is LifeWiseโs original vision: explicitly targeting โunchurched studentsโ โ kids without a church background โ as their mission field. The language is clear: their focus was on recruiting children โoutside the faith.โ

The second image is the new version: now it says โall studentsโ and talks about โdifferent worldviews.โ It sounds softer, but make no mistake โ the mission is the same. They still single out โstudents without a church backgroundโ as their primary target.
This isnโt an evolution in philosophy. Itโs a rebrand. Itโs a shift in language designed to make their proselytizing in public schools seem less like targeting and more like inclusion.

Donโt be fooled.
We see it.
Weโre tracking it.
And we wonโt stop exposing it.

Another major change worth noting is the removal of the term “community driven”. At least they’re finally being honest about this being franchise that is pushed into communities by a corporate entity.
Changing the wording doesn’t change the harm.
