LifeWise’s Fraudulent TPMA Outcomes Report

Maybe you’ve seen this paid for “study” that Lifewise Academy uses to tout their program and the ridiculous claim that they are positively affecting public school metrics like attendance, instruction hours, suspensions and classroom participation. Although they claim this is an independent study, it was financed by Ambassador Enterprises, one of LIfewise’s biggest investors.

We’ve had a professional take a look at that study and explore the validity of those claims.

Dr. Charles Riedesel is a professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; School of Computing. He was kind enough to put together a comprehensive report on the subject and allow us to share it.

“This study, while appearing authoritative, is fraught with deception and flaws that are readily apparent to those with statistical training. TPMA had close connections with LifeWise Academy and stood to gain by the endorsement. The claim is not supported by their own evidence, as will be demonstrated later.”
