🚨For all of LifeWise’s talk about “transparency,” their actions keep proving otherwise.🚨
They’ve quietly updated their website and stripped away the names and photos of local program directors and teachers. In public schools, teachers are publicly listed by name, photo, and contact information—because parents and communities have a right to know who is working with their children. Why should LifeWise’s instructors—who remove kids from class time and influence them in deeply personal ways—be held to a lower standard?
We cannot stress enough how important it is to look into the people and churches running these programs in your own community.
If there’s nothing to hide, why the secrecy? Why cowardice instead of conviction?
What people are saying:
- Facebook User: Nothing says “There’s nothing to hide here” like hiding it.
- Facebook User: Maybe, just maybe it’s to protect the kids, teachers, and churches from people like you attacking them for no good reason. Life Wise has no hidden agenda, they’re open to your question, but you need to talk to Life Wise directly – not through social media, the kids, teachers, or churches?
- Facebook User: Facebook User If they are allowed to operate in public schools the least that can be expected is that they provide basic information about the people who are interacting with the kids. Actually, they shouldn’t be in public schools at all but if they are then nothing short of complete transparency is acceptable. If this was another group I imagine you wouldn’t be so complacent.
- Facebook User: Facebook User Amen. Sad.
- Facebook User: Facebook User no background checks for employees taking children out of school on their bus? That’s not a red flag. 🚩
- Facebook User: Facebook User they absolutely do background checks! If you were told different then you were told wrong.
- Facebook User: Maybe they’re getting harassed.
