🚨 LifeWise Expansion Comes With Real Harm 🚨

This school year, LifeWise Academy — a controversial Hilliard-based religious instruction program — will operate in 613 schools across 303 Ohio districts, nearly half the state.

But families are already reporting serious consequences.

✡️ Rabbi Tina Sobo of Temple Israel Dayton, a mom of two Miamisburg students, explained that children in her congregation have faced antisemitic comments from classmates after LifeWise lessons.

“The curriculum teaches that because my kids are Jewish and don’t believe in Jesus, we’re going to hell … It’s a very specific version of Christianity that goes against the goals of creating an inclusive, positive religious environment in America.”

She also warned how LifeWise lessons pressure kids to proselytize:

“Kids are taught they need to ‘save people’ from hell. They’re trying to help their friends, but that can be really damaging to a child.”

And at the heart of it all:

“The whole point of it is to disrupt the school day. There are so many other times when this would be appropriate, and I think during the school day is not it.”

📚 Public schools should educate, not evangelize. Programs that undermine inclusion and disrupt the learning environment do not belong in our classrooms.

  • Facebook User: The worst thing that could happen to our public schools
  • Facebook User: Enough people need to get mad and voice their opposition. As this gets more pervasive I will think people will begin to wake up.
  • Facebook User: this makes me so sad. This is not the Christianity that I was taught as a child so it’s very ironic. when I see the damage done in the name if Christianity over the past….now genuinely supporting people to be who they are…to feel heard and to have a voice and to feel safe…to walk alongside our neighbors and to love them…. that is what Jesus was about…it is more of a personal spiritual experience and we upheld what our forefathers understood when they wrote the constitution and noted freedom of religion. since all of our forefathers came from different backgrounds…..

This nationalism is cult-like. resembling countries like russia and 1930’s Germany. denouncing vast diversity of our nation’s people.

  • Facebook User: ‘So many reasons to never have allowed this in the first place.
  • Facebook User: and this is another reason my kids go to school online
  • Facebook User: JUST SAY NO! School boards and superintendents need to hear the community say no to LifeWise!
