In a recent interview with The Statehouse News Bureau, LifeWise CEO Joel Penton said he “doesn’t hear ‘real reports’ of children who attend LifeWise ostracizing others who don’t.”

That dismissive line is one we hear again and again from LifeWise supporters as they try to discredit the documented accounts of bullying and exclusion that this program and its teachings have fueled.

Every incident our students, parents, and teachers describe is real—happening in schools across the country every day, whether Mr. Penton chooses to acknowledge it or not.

For him to claim he hasn’t heard any of these reports is another blatant falsehood from a man who claims to teach honesty and integrity.

There are countless verified reports—corroborated by families, educators, journalists, and even attorneys—of students being bullied, ostracized, or pressured because of LifeWise. Dismissing those experiences and denying the reality of the people living them is unacceptable.

Our voices will be heard.

What people are saying:

  • Facebook User: This is a great video! It really hits the point that no matter how often they try to ignore the consequences of this program, you all have the receipts!!! Get it done!!!!
  • Facebook User: Your dollar has power. Quit supporting the businesses that fund Lifewise. Look what happened to Disney recently.
  • Facebook User: Simple solution. They are fixing a problem that doesn’t exist. The ostracized children’s parents need to sue the balls off of the administration and school board that allows this to happen. Better yet, do a class action suit against Lifewise.
