Amazing coverage from the Indiana Citizen on last week’s Muncie forum, where our co-founder Zachary Parrish shared his family’s experience and why protecting the public-school day matters for every kid.
“Whether you’re religious or not, public schools belong to everyone. The question is how to protect that space so every kid feels safe and respected.” — Zachary Parrish
Huge thanks to Muncie Resists, the League of Women Voters of Muncie-Delaware County, and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Muncie for hosting and helping bring folks together for a thoughtful, solutions-focused conversation.

What people are saying:
- Facebook User: Why don’t you start with not letting boys into girls bathrooms and stop promoting grooming on children first. Facebook User let’s get some people out to educate these individuals.
- Facebook User: Facebook User Dude, republicans are the ones guarding child groomers and pedos.
- Facebook User: Facebook User that’s not accurate. Kamala Harris openly supported changing Title IX to allow biological males to compete in female sports and use female facilities without it being considered discrimination.
Facebook User, on the other hand, have been the ones defending Title IX’s original intent — protecting women’s sports and privacy. Leaders like Facebook User and the GOP have said they’ll cut federal funding for states that permit these policies.
Meanwhile, blue-state governors in places like California, Illinois, and Maryland have refused to protect female-only sports or spaces. That’s not “guarding groomers” — that’s standing up for fairness and safety.
