Newly appointed State Superintendent Lindel Fields has officially confirmed that the Oklahoma Department of Education has no plans to distribute Bibles or introduce Biblical curriculum in public classrooms.

Superintendent Fields stated:

“We plan to file a motion to dismiss, and have no plans to distribute Bibles or a Biblical character education curriculum in classrooms.”
