We don’t post this often, but we need to be honest with you.

Secular Education Association has grown into a national watchdog organization far faster than anyone expected — and we’re doing it with no grants, no major donors, and a team of volunteers who work second jobs to keep this moving.

When you donate to SEA, your support doesn’t disappear into overhead. It goes straight into the real, practical costs of this work:

🖥️ Keeping our website online
Our site is the hub for toolkits, research, district tracking, and resources for families across the country.

📝 The basics: paper, pamphlets, ink
Your support literally buys:
Paper for the pamphlets we hand out
Ink for the printer this community helped us purchase
These small things add up — and they keep us able to show up.

🧵 Keeping our merch possible
Donations help us keep our Printify account running so we can offer merch that spreads our message and raises awareness in communities across the country.

🪑 Outreach and tabling
Your support bought the table we use at events and community gatherings — the one that lets us meet parents face-to-face and put materials directly in their hands.

📑 Public Records and filing fees
Public Records Requests (PRRs), FOIA fees, and state filing costs are not free. Donations help us obtain and share the documents that expose what’s really happening in districts.

🚗 Travel so we can show up in person
Gas, mileage, and the occasional hotel when we attend events, testify, table, or support parents in other counties and states — all of that is funded by people like you.

SEA is doing national-level work with grassroots resources.
We never charge parents. We help every district we can. And the demand for this work keeps growing.

If our research, posts, toolkits, or advocacy have helped you or your community, please consider supporting us today.

What people are saying:

  • Facebook User: I have worked directly with 2 people at the top of SEA to bring awareness to my community and used their research, resources, and insight to further my advocacy. They are amazing. Responsive, helpful, friendly, truly passionate, and putting in the work. TONS of work to help students, parents, and teachers. This is a nonprofit I feel 110% confident and positive giving money to. Please, please donate if you can. The amount they do with their current resources is wildly impressive but they could do so much more with extra support!
