Zach shares the story that started all of this — a story many of you have heard before, and one we will keep telling. Because it’s not just about one family or one district. It’s about every child who walks into a public school expecting an education free from coercion, pressure, or religious influence.

His experience was the spark, but what followed became a movement.
Thousands of parents across the country reached out with the same concerns:
kids pulled from class, curriculum kept secret, pressure disguised as “character education,” and communities being misled about what’s really happening during the school day.

What Zach describes in this speech is not an isolated incident — it’s a blueprint being repeated in district after district.

This is why SEA exists.
To protect secular public education.
To demand transparency.
To ensure every student — regardless of faith, background, or belief — gets the education they are legally guaranteed.

We’ll keep showing up.
We’ll keep sharing these stories.
And we’ll keep fighting for a school day where every child belongs.
