📣 KENTUCKY: HEADS UP.
LifeWise Academy is trying to pull Kentucky kids out of class during the school day for church-based “Bible education.” Oldham County parents just beat it back — but LifeWise is already targeting Jefferson County and more.
This new op-ed from a Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) parent lays it out clearly:
🛑 Kids need more time in real classrooms, not sermons.
🛑 Public schools already teach shared values like fairness and honesty.
🛑 No child should be pressured to join a religious program or lose instruction time to attend it.
This isn’t about being anti-religion. It’s about keeping public schools public and protecting every student’s right to learn, together, without religious pressure.

- Facebook User: I agree totally. And in the Anthony Wayne school district, its presence is increasing. Life wise even now is conducting lessons in the Monclova community center, right next-door to the elementary school, so much easier access.  taxpayers pay for a full day of education, and students do not need to be removed for any part of that full day of instruction. It’s a distraction and it destroys the sanctity of the school day.
