🚨 KENTUCKY: Another Quiet LifeWise Attempt — Happening TONIGHT 🚨

Calloway County Schools • November 20 at 6 PM

Once again, LifeWise Academy is slipping itself onto a public school board agenda with almost no community awareness.

Buried under routine items like food service claims and bus purchases is this line:

➡️ “LifeWise Academy Request for Moral Instruction (KRS 158.200)”

That’s Released Time Religious Instruction (RTRI)—a program that pulls kids out of class during the school day for Bible lessons run by private adults, off school property, with zero educational oversight and no academic accountability.

Here’s why this matters:

🔹 Families weren’t informed.
🔹 No public discussion has taken place.
🔹 They frame this as “moral instruction,” but Kentucky law does not require schools to approve private religious programs.
🔹 Once approved, these programs target students through peer pressure, candy incentives, and misleading messaging dressed up as “character education.”

Kentucky students deserve strong public schools — not fragmented learning time, lost instruction, and outside religious groups accessing kids through the school day.

📍 If you live in Calloway County:
Your Board of Education meets tonight at 6 PM. Public comment is allowed. Parents have every right to ask questions about safety, transportation, supervision, curriculum, and academic impact before anything moves forward.

SEA is watching what happens in Kentucky closely — because this is exactly how these programs spread: quietly, quickly, and without transparency.
