✨ This Giving Tuesday, we’re doing something simple — and real.

So much of the conversation around religion and public schools happens on giant stages — big nonprofits, big campaigns, big numbers.

But kids don’t live on giant stages. Kids live in the everyday realities of school — where something as small as having school lunch debt can be the difference between eating or not, belonging or feeling singled out.

While national organizations debate policy and programs like LifeWise Academy pour millions into expanding religious instruction during the school day, children are still the ones caught in the middle — the ones left behind, excluded, or embarrassed in front of their peers.

This year, Secular Education Association (SEA) is giving back in the most direct way we can:

➡️ We are erasing school meal debt for children in small districts that do not have free breakfast or lunch programs.

We’re a young organization. We don’t have deep pockets or political influence.
But we believe that if you’re going to advocate for children, you also have to show up for them in tangible ways — not just with statements, toolkits, or court filings, but with real help that makes a real difference in a child’s day.

Why this?
• Because dignity matters.
• Because no child should be embarrassed in a lunch line — or excluded for their family’s beliefs.
• Because schools shouldn’t have to choose between feeding kids and balancing budgets.
• Because doing the right thing doesn’t require waiting until you’re a “big” nonprofit.
