WASHINGTON 🚨 NEW: Remember our post from yesterday about Everett Public Schools.WA ?

Yesterday we shared that LifeWise Academy — backed by First Liberty and a national law firm — had issued a legal threat to Everett Public Schools.

Here’s the link if not – https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BfpDogLcC/

Today, we’re publishing the actual letter so Washington families can see exactly what’s being demanded behind closed doors.
What you’re looking at is five pages of ultimatums insisting that Everett:

-Retract its new release-time guidelines
-Rewrite Policy 2340P to LifeWise’s liking
-Remove normal child-safety safeguards
-Stop requiring weekly permissions
-Stop requiring sealed handouts
-Give LifeWise greater access than other outside groups
-Provide written assurances by December 5 or face “all legal remedies”

This is not a good-faith disagreement.
This is legal pressure designed to intimidate a public school district into giving a private religious program special treatment — treatment NO OTHER group receives.

The letter repeatedly accuses Everett of “animus,” “bias,” and “hostility,” simply because the district adopted neutral, safety-based procedures for any program that removes children from campus during the school day.

And here’s what the letter does not say:

👉 Washington law does not require districts to allow released time at all.

Any district in this state is fully within its rights to say no.
Everett is being asked to weaken its own policies to satisfy one outside organization — and the precedent would affect every district in Washington.

📣 Washington: pay attention. This letter shows the stakes clearly.

Everett must stand firm — and the state must stand with them.

What people are saying:

  • Facebook User: Thank you for sharing!
  • Facebook User: There is a separation of church and state….

There is a reason Lifewise is not on school campus.

Look at the definition of secular. The policy preserves the separation of church and state.

My son’s public school graduation ended up being at a large church due to weather. The church took down some of it’s religious decorations to host it. It was more like an auditorium than a church. I have viewed pics the church “normal”.

  • Facebook User: This would be a good court case to put Lifewise in it’s place? They are overstepping bounds here. As a person who worked in education a long time, Lifewise is a safety hazard #1. The only people who should be checking a student out is mom or dad because of sickness at school or a doctor’s appointment that is verified with a doctor’s note returned to school. Period. The parent should not be signing off their rights and responsibilities to a third party, during school hours. It doesn’t matter what it is for.
