📣 INDIANA parents, educators, and community members — we’re participating in this upcoming event and want to invite you to join us.

On Wednesday, January 14 at 7 PM EST, the Secular Education Association, Do Something Southern Indiana, and Hoosiers for Separation of Church and State will be taking part in a *Free* virtual School Board Watchdog Seminar focused on helping community members understand how school boards function and how to engage effectively around issues impacting public education — including Released Time Religious Instruction (RTRI) programs.

This session will cover:
• How school boards operate and where decisions are actually made
• How to monitor agendas, policies, and votes
• How parents and community members can participate responsibly and constructively

SEA’s role in this work is rooted in transparency, accountability, student safety, and the constitutional separation of church and state.
