The Secular Education Association is a parent-led, volunteer-powered organization built by people who have learned how to carefully track education legislation, understand its real-world impact on public schools, and respond effectively when issues involving religion and education arise.
This legislative session, bills affecting public education and religious neutrality are moving at lightning speed — often with little notice and limited opportunity for public input. That makes careful review, timely response, and clear public education more important than ever.
SEA’s work includes ongoing legislative monitoring, public-records research, drafting formal letters and testimony, and creating accessible explanations so families understand what is happening in their schools and statehouses.
