🚨 LEGAL COMPLIANCE ALERT: Is LifeWise Violating Our Settlement?

Under the terms of our legal settlement with LifeWise Academy, they are strictly required to make all of their curriculum available for public review.

However, there is a massive discrepancy between what they are showing us and what they are actually teaching in schools like Ashland High School.

The Contradiction:

LifeWise’s legal counsel recently claimed that their high school curriculum is just a single 137-page “Introduction” PDF. They insist this one document covers everything.

The evidence tells a different story:

Exhibit A (The Flyer): LifeWise’s own marketing materials state their “No Credit” track uses The Gospel Project curriculum.

Exhibit B (The Public Announcement): Representatives have publicly announced (see attached) that their credit-bearing High School courses actually use curriculum published by Summit Ministries.

LifeWise’s explanation does not reconcile how a single disclosed curriculum accounts for:

– multiple credit-bearing pathways,
– college-level dual enrollment,
– or programming offered across four high school grade levels.

Why This Matters:

The Gospel Project and Summit Ministries are two completely different, massive bodies of work.

A single 137-page PDF is not a substitute for these materials.

By withholding the specific Summit Ministries and Gospel Project materials, LifeWise is:
Failing to provide the transparency they legally agreed to in our settlement.

Shielding controversial materials from public oversight while simultaneously pushing for these classes to count as public school social studies credits.

If a program is entering our public schools and granting graduation credits, it must follow the law—and the settlement—by being 100% an open book. We shouldn’t have to keep “forcing their hand” or paying lawyer fees to get the truth.

What people are saying:

  • Facebook User: They are afraid to share the curriculum because they realize the community as a whole will not support their very conservative views being the entire focus of a credited class for public school students.
    • Facebook User: Facebook User absolutely
    • Facebook User: Facebook User based on Christian nationalism.
  • Facebook User: Separation of church and state!!! VOTE BLUE!!!
