Public Schools Week may be wrapping up, but this is something we believe every single day of the year.
Public schools aren’t just buildings.
They’re one of the last places in America where kids from completely different worlds sit at the same table.
In a single classroom you might find students who are:
Christian
Muslim
Jewish
Hindu
Buddhist
Sikh
Atheist
Agnostic
Or still figuring it out.
Public schools were designed to serve all of them.
That’s why keeping public education secular isn’t about pushing religion out.
It’s about making sure no child feels like an outsider inside their own school.
When schools belong to everyone,
every child has a place.
