Midwest Electric members in Ohio rounded up their bills to support community needs.
One of the groups funded? LifeWise.

According to this grant list, Columbus Grove Character Academy (LifeWise) received $1,000 for a large-screen TV and tables.
On that same list were groups funding EMS equipment, fire services, police safety tools, food pantry support, meal programs, behavioral health, youth support, and animal welfare. 

And LifeWise is not some struggling little local operation.

LifeWise says it generated $39 million in FY25. 

People are absolutely allowed to ask why member-funded community dollars are helping furnish a released-time religious instruction program when that same money could be going to urgent public-serving needs.

That’s not “anti-religion.”

That’s a fair question.
