This is coming out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
And it says the quiet part out loud.
When people openly describe their goal as revival, mass salvation, and conversion within public schools, this is no longer something anyone should dismiss as harmless or isolated.
Students already have individual religious freedom.
That is not what this is about.
This is about organized efforts to treat public schools as a mission field, normalize sectarian access during the school day, and reshape public education around one favored religious worldview.
Public schools are not churches.
They are not revival spaces.
They are not conversion targets.
They are public institutions that belong to all students.
And Lancaster, Pennsylvania is not some unrelated local story.
It is part of the same larger pattern we keep seeing across the country:
religious access, revival culture, moral-instruction pushes, and coordinated efforts to erode pluralism in public schools.
When they say it this plainly, believe them.
What people are saying:
- Facebook User: Stay out of the schools. It’s the parents who should take their kids to church if they want them to go. Someone is making money off this , or they wouldn’t do it. We have separation of church and state for a very good reason.

Stay the hell out of public schools. - Facebook User: From Lancaster! 🙋🏼♀️ While school districts do rent facilties and cannot discriminate, policy states that the school, the students & faculty cannot promote outside organizations events. When Unrestricted rented our HS auditorium 3 years ago, they pushed limits by giving tee shirts to zealous students to wear (promoting) and “someone” was leaving postcard sized promo materials around the school. This fanatical organization is part of the larger movement that intentionally aims to disrupt and divide students, faculty & the community.
- Secular Education Association: Facebook User Thank you for sharing this insight. Situations like this are exactly why clear facility use policies and neutrality rules matter.
When outside religious organizations are given access to school spaces, districts have a legal responsibility to ensure students are not being used as promotional channels and that schools are not perceived as endorsing the activity.
We hear similar concerns from communities across the country. These situations often start small but can create real division if policies are not consistently enforced. We appreciate you speaking up.
- Facebook User: Secular Education Association and no parents were allowed to the event…
- Facebook User: Facebook User This part is new to me this morning. Another Lancastrian shared it. Gotta remember to copy these bits in my notes so I can include them moving forward.
- Secular Education Association: Facebook User & Facebook User – finding evidence that the parents “weren’t allowed” is paramount… any idea if that’s something that can be sourced? Like in the email or message a parent was explicitly told this, or on a form or?
