Louisiana’s SB 112 is not just a “released time” bill.
Read what it actually says.

It opens the door to religious instruction being taught on campus.
It says these programs can access “funds, benefits, or services.”
It allows schools to award academic credit for it.

That is not school neutrality.

That is public schools being pushed deeper into religious entanglement.

And yes — the bill also pulls schools directly into it through school-board authorization, school-created consent forms, attendance tracking, and absence counting.

Public schools should not be facilitating sectarian programs during the school day.
