To everyone celebrating Easter, we wish you a peaceful holiday.
Public schools still belong to all families.
Religious freedom is protected best when schools remain neutral— not when one faith is centered, promoted, or treated as the default during the school day.
Every child deserves a public school where they can learn without religious pressure, exclusion, or favoritism.
That’s what we’re protecting.
What people are saying:
- Facebook User: Separation between church and state very important!
- Facebook User: I have 3 grown children. All received excellent public school educations. I did too. All 3 have college degrees, they wanted to work for those, they all have worked while they got degrees, sometimes 3 jobs, all while attending full time.
I admire the work ethic, then, now. But hey love to learn, we all do. Thank you SEA for keeping us informed of what is happening in our current times/schools and why/how we need to open up more discussions, within our communities, schools, states, and nation.
I am all for public school funding. I worked as a volunteer for years in the Resource Center for 2 public schools. I saw the needs, saw the impact of programs that worked, some that didn’t too. People need to be involved to see what, or where improvements need to be made.
