Our town hall, “Moralizing Poverty: The Truth Behind the Success Sequence,” took a closer look at the way the so-called “success sequence” is used to moralize poverty and shift attention away from the structural conditions that actually shape people’s lives.
This is not just a talking point. It is part of a broader ideological framework that keeps showing up in education policy, legislation, and public discourse.
