This Teacher Appreciation Week, we want to do more than say thank you. We want to listen.

Teachers, educators, and school staff are some of our strongest and most essential allies.

You see the realities of the school day firsthand – including the impact of programs like LifeWise, as well as other situations where religion intersects with public education in ways that may create disruption, pressure, or inequity.

And we know speaking up can carry real professional risk.

That is why Secular Education Association created a completely anonymous form for teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals, substitutes, board members, and other school staff to share their experiences safely.

Whether it’s related to released time programs, classroom dynamics, policies, or other concerns about maintaining a neutral and inclusive learning environment — we want to hear from you.

Please use it.
Please share it discreetly with trusted colleagues.

Your voice matters. Your experience matters. Your safety matters.

Educators are the backbone of public education. This week and every week, we are grateful for you— and we want your stories heard without fear of retaliation. ❤️
