Happy Mother’s Day to the moms and caregivers breaking cycles.
To the moms refusing to teach their children that exclusion is normal.
To the moms speaking up when public schools blur the line between church and state.
To the moms protecting kids who are being singled out, pressured, or made to feel like they do not belong.
To the moms showing up at board meetings, sending emails, asking hard questions, and documenting what others would rather ignore.
We see you.
And more importantly: we ARE you.
Public schools belong to every child, not just the children whose families share the majority religion.
Today, we honor the mothers and caregivers raising children to be kind, brave, curious, and free.
Your advocacy matters. Your voice matters. And your children are watching, learning what courage looks like.
