In case you missed it:
They keep calling released-time religious instruction “private” and “off campus.”
But the records tell a much messier story.
In Plymouth, Ohio, public records reviewed by SEA show a LifeWise Academy project involving:
public school land
Board of Education approval
superintendent coordination
village records
zoning approval
public water and sewer references
sanitation connection discussions
district legal review
and questions about connecting to the school complex
That is not clean separation.
That is public systems being wrapped around religious instruction during the public school day.
And here is the part every parent and taxpayer should be asking:
If public school land, public officials, public infrastructure, and district legal review are part of the story…
why are families still being told this is simply “private”?
“Off campus” does not mean separate.
