Second nothing has happened at lifewise yet you all keep attaching lifewise to all these terrible stories, shame on you! Thirdly,and I’m tired of repeating FACTS, but lifewise DOES FBI/BCI background checks on EVERYONE we do use ADP as well. We are held to high safety standards as far as children safety, restroom breaks (no adults allowed to enter the bathroom) and 4 plus the bus drivers when transporting children to and from school. Lifewise is supported by our school and parents HAVE to give permission. It’s not religious based it is a basic Bible study period! I’m a Human Service Professional and there is no way I would volunteer for lifewise if not for all safety in place nor would I if they pushed one organizer religion on them, but that’s NOT they case. As far as school,home, churches, cub scouts and public places you have to be careful to watch for children safety in all, sadly enough! It’s a fallen world we live in but I believe MOST have only good intentions! God bless

Plus 3 men were volunteers at Lifewise that have been arrested for rape of children thats 3 too many and 1 that was fired only after it became known she was sexting minors at a previous job. And they refuse to take any responsibility for this even happening in the first place. Just stop with the “you’re being mean” to the religious club that bribes kids with candy and trinkets to recruit their friends, tells kids that do not attend that they are going to hell so stop hiding your head in the sand.

Is every LifeWise teacher, volunteer, driver, director, and board member fingerprinted through BCI and FBI? When are rechecks done? Who reviews the results? Are districts given proof before children are released into LifeWise custody? Because LifeWise’s own public language says “background screening,” not FBI/BCI.

    That is exactly the point.

    Public schools are subject to public records laws, elected school boards, state licensing rules, mandated reporting requirements, employee discipline records, policies, supervision standards, and public accountability.

    When outside religious programs are given access to children through the public school day, the public has every right to ask what safeguards exist, who is vetting adults, who is supervising, what happens when something goes wrong, and why schools are creating another unnecessary access point to children in the first place.

    This is not “one sided.” It is child safety, public accountability, and church-state separation. Religious instruction can happen after school, on weekends, or at church. It does not need to be inserted into the public school day.
