🚨 Here it comes.

The Supreme Court is preparing to hear a case about whether a private religious preschool can take public money and still turn away children because their parents are gay.

-Not whether religious preschools can exist.
They can.

-Not whether churches can teach their beliefs.
They can.

The question is whether a private religious school can accept taxpayer-funded preschool dollars while refusing to follow the public rules that protect families from discrimination.

Paying attention yet?

Because this is exactly what happens when public education dollars get redirected into private religious systems.

🚨First they demand access to public money.

🚨Then they demand exemptions from public accountability.

🚨Then children and families are the ones who pay the price.

Public money should come with public obligations.

If a program is publicly funded, it should serve the public. That includes children with two moms. Children with two dads. Children from non-Christian homes. Children whose families do not fit one church’s doctrine.

Religious schools have a right to be religious.

They DO NOT have a right to taxpayer money while excluding taxpayer families.

🚨This is not just about preschool- This is about the future of public education.

Because once we let private religious institutions take public dollars while rejecting public rules, we are no longer funding education for the public.

We are funding discrimination with public money.

What people are saying:

  • Secular Education Association: The case is St. Mary Catholic Parish v. Roy, U.S. Supreme Court No. 25-581. It involves Colorado’s universal preschool program, public funding for religious preschool providers, and nondiscrimination protections for LGBTQ families. Public money should come with public accountability.
