🌈Pride Month reminder:
Gay kids attend private schools too.
Gay kids attend religious schools too.
Trans kids attend them.
Queer kids attend them.
Questioning kids attend them.
You can pull your child out of public school.
You can put them behind a tuition bill, a chapel requirement, a dress code, a doctrine statement, and a Bible verse on every wall…
👉But you cannot take the gay out of kids.
-What you can do is teach them shame.
-You can teach them fear.
-You can teach them that being honest about who they are might cost them their family, their school, their friends, or their safety.
And then those same adults act shocked when kids suffer in silence…
Public schools are not “making kids gay.”
Pride flags are not “turning kids queer.”
Inclusive teachers are not “confusing children.”
Queer kids already exist. Period.
The real question is whether the adults around them are safe enough to tell.
