Go ahead and add Moms for Liberty to the ever-growing list of concerning organizations, people, and political movements orbiting LifeWise Academy.
Ooooh, but LifeWise isn’t political. Yeah. Sure sure. This is totally “neutral” Bible education. Mmmhmm.
If they’re so neutral, their choice in friends is doing a terrible job of hiding it. Moms for Liberty is about as political as it gets. 👀
👉The BOE Meetings: Moms for Liberty chairs and members are actively stepping up to the mics to speak on behalf of LifeWise at local Board of Education meetings.
👉The Portal: The LifeWise promotional documentary is literally sitting in the official Moms for Liberty member portal under “education-related videos and films.” The description? “Help bring it to the children in your district.”
(Ah, yes, pure grassroots neutrality).
👉The 2024 Summit: LifeWise didn’t just show up to the Moms for Liberty national events…they were a listed financial sponsor for the 2024 summit.
👉This Year’s Summit: They doubled down and set up a prominent marketing booth at THIS year’s Moms for Liberty national summit.
👉Joint Screenings: Local Moms for Liberty chapters are actively hosting joint watch parties for the LifeWise propaganda film. Popcorn and propaganda, anyone?
The irony here is thick enough to choke on.
This is a group that has spent years targeting public schools, teachers, librarians, and LGBTQ+ students. They scream “indoctrination!” over classroom flags, safe-space stickers, and inclusive library books.
But when it’s their brand of religion being pulled into the public school day, suddenly the narrative flips to “help bring it to the children.”…
So is “indoctrination” only a problem when they’re not the ones doing it? 🤔
👏🏻💜Real moms who actually care about liberty call absolute bullshit on this double standard.
You are the company you keep, LifeWise. And right now, your friends are very, very concerning.
What people are saying:
- Facebook User: Need to rename them the Pedo Patriots
- Facebook User: Moms of Liberty is a designated hate group by the SPLC
- Facebook User: Facebook User which in itself (SPLC) is one of the most hateful groups in America!!
- Facebook User: Facebook User how do figure that lol
- Facebook User: Facebook User didn’t the SPLC just get indicted for funding hate groups. I’d find a better source…
- Secular Education Association: Facebook User an indictment is an allegation, not a conviction. And “funding hate groups” is a pretty dishonest way to describe alleged payments tied to informants/intelligence work inside extremist groups. Even DOJ framed the charges around fraud, false statements, and money laundering allegations; not “SPLC is a hate group funder.”
Also, none of that changes the point: Moms for Liberty is listed by SPLC as an extremist/hate group because of its documented anti-LGBTQ and anti-public-school campaigns. You can dislike the source, but the behavior is still the behavior. Nice deflection, though.
- Facebook User: Secular Education Association cool story. It goes to the organization’s reliability. I can label your page as a hate group. Does that make you part of a hate group?
- Secular Education Association: Facebook User no, see that’s not how credibility works.
SPLC is a long-standing civil rights organization that documents extremist movements using published criteria and evidence. A random Facebook commenter saying “I label you a hate group” is not the same thing.
You can attack the messenger all day, but it doesn’t erase Moms for Liberty’s record: anti-LGBTQ campaigns, book bans, attacks on public schools, and coordinated political pressure.
- Facebook User: Trumps been indicted plenty of times, but you still gargle his balls
- Facebook User: Facebook User SPLC funded the KKK.
- Facebook User: This is a childish and low IQ attempt to liable an organization. I’m not saying lifewise 100% on the up and up, but the logic to get to this post is stupid. Speak to the merits. It’s like saying we should judge this FB page off of the people in the members list. There are likely multiple unsavory characters there.
- Secular Education Association: Facebook User keep commenting though. 💀
- Facebook User: Secular Education Association absolutely. Someone needs to point out your flawed propaganda. You will eventually block dissent. Propagandists always benefit within their self-created echo chambers.
- Secular Education Association: Facebook User you drive our algorithm genius…You actually attract MORE people to the post when you comment. Every time you comment. Go for it. We aren’t arguing with your nonsense, but you are wasting your time.
- Facebook User: Facebook User go back to your death cult bro tell them how mean the educated, literate secularists are 🥲 they’ll pat your head and tell you you’re your imaginary friend’s special little boy!
- Facebook User: Ryan Primiano looking in a mirror. Stop acting like a child. It’s easy to hurl insults over the Internet.
- Facebook User: Facebook User go fuck yourself, groomer. with a cactus and no lube.
- Facebook User: Facebook User eat shit, groomer.
- Facebook User: Oh, they’ve been on my list for a few years
- Facebook User: Moms for Liberty has always been problematic. I knew some of their members in my previous life of church and stuff.
- Facebook User: Facebook User my guess is they used “big words” (5 letter words) that confused you. It’s ok buddy, you will be ok.
- Facebook User: Facebook User Oh, wow! What a great attempt at being a troll. 😆 Oh, my day is ruined now! 😆
- Facebook User: Facebook User I sabotaged their candidates’ campaign in Ohio when I lived there by digging up old racist posts and splashing them everywhere they tried to smear their bullshit. “The Moms” lost in olentangy that year lolol
- Facebook User: I agree that religious base organizations have no place in public schools. However, why aren’t you demanding that transgender, LGBTQ, pride and other politicized organizations be barred being in public schools? Public school should focus on teaching the fundamentals (math, science, english, history) and not allow politicized organizations of any nature into the schools. It’s not the school’s responsibility to promote certain political views without providing a balanced perspective. That’s for the parents to decide what to teach their children. FYI, I support LGBTQ rights, I am opposed to discrimination in any form. I do not believe any group should be given preferential treatment.
- Facebook User: Facebook User wtf are you even talking about lol
- Facebook User: Of course they don’t mind their own forms of indoctrination. Remember, every accusation is an admission of guilt.
- Facebook User: Are you trying to tell me that school is neutral also? Come on now. No one is neutral
- Facebook User: The Indiana chapter was the only one dumb enough to actually post the Hitler quote in their newsletter that said “He alone who owns the youth gains the future”, but they ALL live it out in their works.
- Facebook User: Moms For Liberty, the far-right group with a secret Nazi group chat…that Moms For Liberty?
- Facebook User: MFL has always been a tea party xtian nationalist steaming dumpster
- Facebook User: This place sucks
