🌈Pride Month reminder:
Uncloseted Media reported that LifeWise teaches children that “anything different from this kind of romantic relationship between a husband and a wife is sin.”
So let’s be very clear about what that means in a public school community, because that message does not stay neatly inside the LifeWise classroom…It follows these kids back to lunch tables, playgrounds, classrooms, buses, and their homes.
It affects the child with two moms and the kid with a trans sibling. How does the student who is already scared to come out handle that?
What about the teacher with a wife and the family that does not fit LifeWise’s doctrine.
🚨This is why “optional” is not good enough.
Public schools are supposed to be safe for all children; not places where some kids are quietly marked as wrong, sinful, or in need of saving.
Read and share the Uncloseted Media article. Pride Month is a good time to remember exactly what is being normalized during the public school day.
