🚨KENTUCKY PARENTS: THIS IS YOUR WARNING.
LifeWise Academy is seeking expansion into Reidland, Kentucky and public records show this was already being discussed behind the scenes.
In an email to McCracken County school leadership, a LifeWise program director wrote that her team had been “putting out feelers” to determine the next school to add. She mentioned Reidland Elementary, Reidland Intermediate, and Lone Oak Elementary.
👉She also said Reidland Elementary “would be the easier option” because of its location near Reidland Baptist.
👉And after speaking with the Reidland Elementary principal, she wrote that she was “a bit disappointed in her enthusiasm”, then reached out to district leadership for their thoughts. (Brava Principal!)
So when they try to sell this as “community-driven” or “local demand,” remember what the records show: LifeWise wasn’t just responding to the community.
✔️They were shopping schools.
✔️They were weighing which building would be easiest because of its proximity to a church.
✔️And when a principal wasn’t enthusiastic enough, they went up the chain to district leadership.
✳️And HERE is the important part:
🚨Kentucky is still a may state. Local boards still matter. Districts still have power. They can still say no.🚨
👏🏻Oldham County already did.
Reidland can ask hard questions now.
McCracken County can say no.
Kentucky communities do not have to roll out the red carpet.
Public schools belong to everyone.

What people are saying:
- Secular Education Association: You want local control? Use it.
Kentucky folks: this is still a local decision. Do not let anyone tell you this is inevitable. Ask your board members where they stand, ask what records exist, ask what district time/resources are being used, and ask why a private religious program is being allowed to work the system before families are fully informed. Oldham County said no. McCracken can too.
- Facebook User: Literally just found your page from the deconstructing Christianity page I follow, so I’ve just now read your above post about LifeWise. Could you please tell me if it’s in Indiana schools at this time?
- Secular Education Association: Facebook User yes it is. Unfortunately. Check out our map.

- Facebook User: Secular Education Association thank you! Definitely appreciate the info. I’m also checking out another group called ROX (ruling our experiences) it’s a girls group founded by a dr Lisa hinkelman I believe her name is. So far everything is very vague but I’m hoping it’s not affiliated with a religious group. It’s just not outright saying it is or isn’t.
- Secular Education Association: Facebook User we will add that one to our list as well! Thank you for the info.

- Facebook User: Be aware of Mentor’s Care, as well. The concept is good, but nobody monitors what they say and frankly, I’ve heard some of those mentors just spout flat-out hate and lies to their vulnerable charges. It’s crazy. If your school wants to do this, just say no.
