• Facebook User: As much as I would love the world 🌎 to come to the knowledge of the Bible and receive Salvation, I do not agree with how this is being done. That’s not who Jesus is. He NEVER forced Himself / FAITH on anyone and neither should we as followers of Christ. That was unfortunately done during around the 15th century, when the words of the Bible were twisted into believing slavery was what God intended. Let’s remember how the natives were stolen of their own beliefs because the Bible was forced upon them. Are we going back to that? It’s one thing to go back to saying a quick prayer before class starts, it is an entirely another to force the Bible down people’s throats. That’s NOT THE CHRISTIAN WAY. If the whole school was a Christian based school, then so be it, but that is not the case. We have many religions in the world and everyone should be treated with respect no matter what. God didn’t says, “love your neighbor as thyself”, only if they believe in the Bible. He desired for us to love our neighbors nonetheless, and in whatever they believed. We may not have to agree with what they believe, but it doesn’t mean we stop loving them, and loving them is not forcing our faith down their throats. When God says, love first, it’s our actions, how we react, how we respond. It’s living by the fruits of the spirit daily. That’s how God knows His own. That being said, if He opens opportunities to be a witness to talk to unbelievers about the Lord and Scripture, then we must use every opportunity to work the Great Commission unto the Lord. Forcing our FAITH on unbelievers is certain NOT an open door. This will only cause unbelievers to resent us even more. Sad! 😞 God help us. 🙏🏽
