🚨 MONTANA, look closely. 👀 This is not just some random prayer event.

👉This is a Capitol event in Helena called “A Time to Dedicate Montana to the LORD.”
And look who is listed on the flyer:

LifeWise Academy.
Montana Family Foundation.
Turning Point USA.
Intercessors for America/MT.
US Reformation Prayer Network.
Montana Pro-Life.
Montana Aglow.
Montana Medical Alliance.
Profile Montana.

Look at the other organizations on this flyer and tell us with a straight face that LifeWise Academy is not political.

These are not separate fights, this is the ecosystem. This is the overlap between religious instruction, anti-abortion politics, Christian nationalist prayer networks, “family values” lobbying, and public-school culture war organizing.

LifeWise Academy is listed on a flyer surrounded by organizations working to push conservative Christianity into law, schools, medicine, and public policy.
And LifeWise’s model depends on access to public school students during the public school day…

So we’re going to need people to stop with the gaslighting bullshit.

This is not “just Bible class.”
It’s not some harmless, off-campus program that “isn’t political”…look at the company they keep and the project surrounding them.

🚨Public schools are not a side issue in this movement. They are the battlefield.

Public schools belong to all children. Not one political machine or one version of Christianity. Public education is not a recruitment pipeline.

Keep religion private.
Keep public schools public.

What people are saying:

  • Secular Education Association: Montana media should be asking why LifeWise Academy, a program built around accessing public school students during the public school day – is showing up on a flyer alongside organizations openly pushing theology into law, schools, medicine, and public policy. This is not “just Bible class.” Public schools are part of the strategy, and Montana parents deserve to know what is being organized here.

  • Facebook User: Isn’t this antisemitism? As well as anti a lot of other religions and non-religions in the US?
  • Facebook User: Oh nice. Just like Lancaster and Pennsylvania were rededicated to God. So cute.
  • Facebook User: Koch Brothers funds Turning Point.
  • Facebook User: why does it hurt you that other people celebrate their faith?
    • Facebook User: Facebook User everyone is free and welcome to celebrate their faith. What they are not free to do is to impose it on others or inject it into public, secular arenas such as public schools and government.
    • Facebook User: Facebook User Celebrate your faith. But do it in your home, your place of worship, and in like-minded groups. Or in religious private schools. But keep it out of publicly funded spaces that include people who don’t practice your faith. Or any faith at all.

Let me as you this: why should public schools push any religion, let alone one over others? If Muslims, Jews or people of other faiths wanted public school kids to learn about their faith, read their texts or have some outside group aligned with them come in to try and indoctrinate kids, Christians, and especially white, Christian Nationalists, would have a tantrum the size of which we’ve never seen.

    • Facebook User: Facebook User They are not free to impose their faith on others, but there is no restriction that says a person of faith cannot express their faith in public or in government or schools. In fact the constitution expressly protects it.
    • Facebook User: Facebook User My question is…if your relationship with whatever god in which you believe is so precious…why make a spectacle. You can, when in public areas where religion is not a focus, pray silently all you want. This idea that you have to be able to evangelize or have prayer circles at school as part of public school day is just wrong.
    • Facebook User: Facebook User it is wrong according to you, but it is not wrong according to others. People of faith do not “block off time” to be faithful, rather it is part of their entire day, it is part of who they are. To tell them that they cannot do so is a violation of their rights in the constitution.
Now, teachers and administrators cannot “evangelize” at school, but I do not think that is what is happening here.
    • Facebook User: Facebook User if youbare referring to Lifewise…that is notnfaith..that is grooming young children to push Christian Nationalism and that has no place anywhere. I don’t need to know and certainly don’t care if someone has a chat with their god 24/7 but public schools are all inclusive which meams people of all faiths, people with no religious affiliation and any type of insertion of religion into the day is just wrong place wrong time. Parochial schools are all over….public schools are not places of worship
    • Facebook User: Facebook User Again, the constitution protects this right. Your opinion that faith does not belong in the public is nothing more than your opinion.
And who says that lifewise is Christian Nationalism? again, this is an opinion. This is a voluntary option for parents that want to chose this for their kids. Are you opposed to parents determining how their kids are raised?
  • Facebook User: “Secularism” is its own religion, and you’re perfectly fine with that!
It’s just that Satan is it’s God!
