“Requested” ?!

Did Baldwin County School District actually request 21 Bible classes from LifeWise?
Did the Board vote on that?
Did administrators ask for it?

Orrrr is LifeWise using vague language to make a private religious program sound school-endorsed while fundraising $139,000 in a county where the poverty rate is 21.7% and child poverty is estimated around 27.8%? 😡

Baldwin County residents need to public-records-request every email, meeting note, agreement, flyer, scheduling document, and communication between the district and LifeWise.

Because if a public school system is “requesting” Bible education during the school day, the public deserves to know exactly who requested it, when, and under what authority. 👀

What people are saying:

  • Facebook User: This is outrageous!!! A true violation of Zorach v Clauson!!!
☆ A School must do NO MORE than release- Zorach v Clauson: “If in fact coercion were used, if it were established that any one or more teachers were using their office to persuade or force students to take the religious instruction, a wholly different case would be presented.”
I hope the parents of Facebook User sue them for this!!!
  • Facebook User: That wording is something.
  • Facebook User: Screw bible education. You know nothing of the imaginary supernatural.
  • Facebook User: Cult and a ponzi scheme.
