When LifeWise talks to school boards, it’s “character education.”
When LifeWise talks to churches, well, they keep it real…👀
“Our public schools are a staple… they are a microcosm of the representation of our communities.”
🗣️Translation: public schools give them access, trust, and legitimacy they would not otherwise have.. and should not have.
“80% of youth today… will never step foot in a church.”
🗣️There’s the worldview. Children are not being treated as students but as a target demographic.
“Yet 90% of all students in our country attend a public school.”
🗣️Yes. Because public schools serve all children.
Christian children. Jewish children. Muslim children. Hindu children. Buddhist children. atheist children. agnostic children. LGBTQ+ children. disabled children. poor children. immigrant children. children from every kind of family.
That is the point of public education.
“Therein lies the opportunity.”
🗣️Opportunity for whom?
Because it sure sounds like the opportunity is not to support public schools. It is to use them.
“If they are not coming to us… we must go to them.”
🗣️No! Those children are not yours to access.
They are at school. They are learning. They are protected by a public system that is supposed to belong to everyone; not one church, not one ministry, not one version of Christianity.
“We know where they are.”
🗣️How dare you.
“I’ve been praying and looking for a pathway into the school.”
🗣️Not “just Bible class.” Not neutral values. Not character education.
➡️A pathway into the school.
“When you engage the youth, you engage the families.”
🗣️That is not education, it is a full on recruitment strategy.
“So now we see families start to come back to the local church, get plugged in, and be discipled… and praise God that’s what we’re after.”
🗣️Public schools are not mission fields.
Public school children are not church-growth tools.
The school day is not a discipleship pipeline.
Keep religion private.
Keep public schools public.

They posted on their site that we discriminate against them. They are a cult and pedophile protectors.

The majority voted red because Ohio is a Republican state. I think it’s a great law. Lifewise needs to be in schools because the schools are pushing left-wing propaganda.

My area of Ohio has a lot of Pennsylvania Dutch heritage that has a big influence on the communities and churches, especially Baptist and Protestant. There used to be a very heavy Anabaptist influence to everything, but thankfully, with all of the elders of the towns being gone, things are changing. I have Pa Dutch heritage (mine went “fancy” thank goodness!), but that oppressiveness lingers like a wet blanket.

Children are not a commodity, families are free to include religion in their lives in anyway they so choose- or to not include it in their lives. Stay the hell out of public schools and stay away from our precious children.
