LifeWise’s favorite legal talking point leaves out the most inconvenient part of Zorach:

THE PUBLIC SCHOOL HAD TO REMAIN NEUTRAL.

Not recruit.
Not advertise.
Not fundraise.
Not use school staff to track or administer participation.
Not help the ministry grow.

So no — “off campus, privately funded, parent permitted” is not a magic constitutional formula.

Zorach upheld one program under one set of facts. It did not give every future released-time ministry a constitutional blank check.

And the more schools blur the line between accommodating religious exercise and promoting a religious ministry, the weaker that talking point gets.
